I promise updates soon! I'm going home for break for a week and then off to visit my girlfriend in New Hampshire for 5 days and then back home for a few more before finally returning to Rochester for school. Hopefully I'll get some good shots walking around downtown Rochester on Sunday or some scenery shots on the train or while I'm shown around New Hampshire. I finally got myself a decent tripod, not a Manfrotto or a Gitzo, but its stable as hell and does just about everything that I need it to.

Monster thunderstorm that knocked out power on campus today, people couldn't use the darkrooms and classes got out early. Good day for some, completely crappy for others. I have a paper due on Wednesday and a midterm on Thursday, that should be good. The paper won't be too bad, gotta watch Hot Fuzz for it and then write about the editing in the film. Already started planning spring break, maybe Myrtle Beach?

First time I've updated this thing in months but I really want to start keeping this journal on a normal basis. Went home for the weekend for the first time since beginning college in late August. The trip took 12 hours, about twice as long as it actually should have but it felt good to take a shower without having to wear flip-flops, having my own bathroom, and having a great home cooked meal. I just wish that the stay could've lasted longer. 2 days in my bed is not nearly enough. Back to RIT tomorrow followed by midterms later on in the week. Fun fun.
